You’d visit me every night at work just to say hi and remind me how I’m your girl and you always made sure to tell everyone too. You’d work sun up to sun down every day because sitting just wasn’t your thing. You gave 110% to your family without question. You loved watching your WWE and being in the church pew every Sunday. From softball games, graduation, dances, every time I wrecked one of my vehicles, to the gas station in the morning before school to fill up my truck, to my wedding, to my kids births, birthdays, any day I was sad, anytime I needed a tire aired up because I ran something over, every event. He always showed up, I cant remember a time when he didn’t. To many he was just a regular old dude that ran a few stop signs and had probably the biggest collection of lawn mowers. Her grands and great-grands increased the love, and she was so proud of them all she absolutely loved showing them off! Peggy loved her brothers and sisters and her daughter was her life. She loved genealogy, and also going out to with her friends. Peggy enjoyed being with her family, and she helping friends anyway she could.

After her retirement she helped her teacher friends with their cutting. Following Rodger’s death she took the para-pro test for Duncan Public School, passing with flying colors, so she became a teacher’s aide at Duncan Pre-K for five years. Rodger and Peggy were faithful members of Praise Assembly of God Church, until Rodger’s death on March 22, 2010. They moved their home in Comanche on December 26, 1976. She and Rodger Lee Smith were united in marriage on Octoin Ryan. Peggy worked at Round Up Cleaners for eleven years. It became her own logo, and she loved it! Peggy grew up in Ryan, from 1st grade to 12th grade, graduating with the Class of 1973.

She was the ninth of twelve children in fact, she had a car tag made that said 9 of 12. Peggy was born Septemin Warren, AR, the ninth of twelve children to Robert Lee and Bessie (Maness) Richards.
